AC Transit Motor Coach Industries Photos

Welcome to the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District, CA. (AC Transit) photo gallery for Motor Coach Industries buses. AC Transit first operates 40 MCI 102DL3/D4500 built in 2000 (as of 2016, some of these have been retired from service). In 2003, 39 MCI D4500 coaches also entered service. These coaches are used on specific commuter routes connecting into Transbay Terminal in downtown San Francisco. All of AC Transit's MCI buses are powered by Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines with Allison B500R transmissions. Please do not reuse any of these photos without prior permission from photo owner.
