Calgary Transit GM New Look #1046 Charter (October 30, 2011)

Welcome to the photo gallery for the Calgary Transit GM New Look #1046 charter. This charter took place on Sunday October 30, 2011 with the only remaining two tone blue livery bus in the Calgary Transit fleet at the time. The charter took place at a time when the once abundent fleet of GM New Look buses was at about 40 active buses.

#1046 is a 1980 General Motors T6H-5307N New Look. It received minor refrubishments throughout it's life time as well as having it's current Vultron II flipdot style sign installed. This particular bus was choosen because it represents the livery that most of Calgary Transit's Fishbowls were delivered in. The paint on #1046 is for the most part original. This particular bus has been the only Calgary Transit bus operating in this livery since July 2009.
