Welcome to the New Flyer XD40 Xcelsior photo gallery for Calgary Transit. The first these buses began arriving in December of 2013, a total of 150 of these buses are to be delivered throughout 2014. These buses feature different seating frames and frabric and seating configuration compared to older New Flyer low floor buses. These buses have their livery painted as compared to decals previously used. The Xcelsior features some cosmetic upgrades as well as other minor cosmetic and mechanical changes. These buses are powered by Cummins ISL9 engines with ZF 6 Speed transmissions.
