Canadian Pacific Railway (CP Rail) is one of Canada's two largest frieght rail carriers, the other being Canadian National Railway (CN Rail). The Canadian Pacific Railway contributed greatly to the settlement of western Canada and is an important link in Canadain history. Today CP Rail continues to play a vital role in Canada's economy and transportation network, focusing on freight rail operations.
