Hong Kong Dennis Tridents (LWB)

The Dennis Trident was introduced in Hong Kong in late 1997 with Kowloon Motor Bus getting the first one, ATR1. Citybus got several and Long Win Bus got several as well in late 1997. These were all Hong Kong's first low floor double deck buses. Follow up orders have continued since 1997 up till today. A total of around 1700 Dennis Tridents are operated by Kowloon Motor Bus, New World First Bus, Citybus, Kowloon Canton Railway Feeder Bus and Long Win Bus. All Dennis Tridents delivered to Hong Kong are air conditioned. They come in 3 different body styles, Duple Metsec, Walter Alexander and Transbus Enviro 500. The engine that powers these buses is the Cummins M11 with either Voith or ZF transmissions. These buses come in lengths of 12m, 11.3m, 10.6m and 10.3m.
