Welcome to the photo gallery for the Saskatoon Transit Nova Bus Classic #449 charter. This charter took place on Saturday June 2nd, 2018. At this time the last of original Saskatoon "Classic" (TC40102N) buses had recently been removed from revenue service. However, #449 was reserved and tuned up (receiving a donor engine from another bus) in time for the charter. At the time a handful of used ex-Calgary Transit 1991-92 MCI Classic buses were still in service for school and peak period extra buses. This charter was organized by the Canadian Transit Heritage Foundation, their efforts and time are much appreciated.
