Skytrain- Hyundai Rotem

Welcome to the Skytrain photo gallery for the Canada Line. This line uses Hyundai Rotem cars and was opened on August 17, 2009. The line is 19.2 kilometres long running from Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver through to Richmond, a spur line to the YVR Airport is also included. The line replaced the 98B-Line as well as various express bus services running between downtown Vancouver and Richmond. The fleet consists of 20 double ended cars, one end of the car is numbered 1XX, the other is 2XX. Therefore, #103 and #203 are the same car, just different ends. The Canada Line is a fully automated driver less system. Trains can be manually operated on board in emergencies.
