New Flyer XN40 Xcelsior

Welcome to the New Flyer XN40 Xcelsior photo gallery. In 2014, Coast Mountain Bus Company/Translink took delivery of 45 compressed natural gas fueled New Flyer XN40 Xcelsior buses. In late 2016, 51 more of these buses were added to the fleet. 26 and 47 more buses joined the XN40 fleet respectively in 2018 & 2019. All 169 of these buses are powered by a Cummins Westport ISL G/Cummins L9N with ZF 6AP1400B transmissions. These buses are equpped with full HVAC systems for heating & air conditioning comfort.
