Welcome to the Toronto Transit Commission photo gallery. Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) serves the city of Toronto while offering various connections to the regions/cities in the Greater Toronto Area. The TTC was formed in 1920 under the amalgation of 9 seperate systems within Toronto, today it is the largest transit operation in Canada with regard to routes and fleet size. The TTC currently operates a variety of buses, the majority of which are from Orion Bus Industries, with others are from General Motors, New Flyer Industries and Ford Motor Company. The TTC also operates a large subway system and the Scarborough Rapid Transit line. Additionally the TTC is the only transit operator of streetcars in Canada, operating a fleet of about 240 streetcars.
