Welcome to the Winnipeg Transit photo gallery! Transit service in Winnipeg began in 1882 with horse drawn carts, moving to electric streetcars and eventually motor buses. Electric trolley buses were operated form 1938 to 1970. As of 2015, Winnipeg Transit operates 94 bus routes with a fleet of 600 buses. For roster infromation please click here.
