Welcome to the photo gallery for the Winnipeg Transit New Flyer D40 #698 charter. The main charter was held on May 30th, 2015 with a New Flyer plant tour in Winnipeg the day prior, using the same bus for transportation. The New Flyer D40 was a staple of the Winnipeg Transit fleet from 1987, through the 1990's and into the mid 2000's. A total of 205 were built for Winnipeg Transit from 1987 until 1994. The buses are due to be fully retired by 2016.
