AC Transit New Flyer Photos

Welcome to the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District, CA. (AC Transit) photo gallery for New Flyer products. Currently (As of Fall 2016 AC Transit opereates 2013 New Flyer XD60 buses powered by Cummins ISL9 engines and Allison B500R tranmissions. New Flyer XDE60, XD60, XE40 and XHE40 buses will be entering service soon.

Previous New Flyer products included New Flyer D40' (1988- #2500-2526, 1989 #2527-2578), New Flyer D35 (1988- #2400-2428), New Flyer D60 (1989- #1800-1829) and New Flyer D60 (1996- #1901-1930). All of which were powered by Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engines except the final order of New Flyer D60 buses that were powered by Detroit Diesel Series 50 engines.
