1982-1985 SD/CT-U2-DC (C-Train)

As the C-Train system grew rapidly in the 1980’s, more C-Train cars were needed. 56 more cars were assembled at the Anderson shops using once again U2 bodies form Germany and electronics form Siemens. The construction of these cars spanned form 1982 all the way to 1985. These cars run on direct current (DC). The seats along with other interior parts have been changed throughout their lifetime. A few of these cars have received a refurbishment that includes new blue seat cushions, new exterior paint and new exterior door opening buttons.
