Orion 02.501 | 8501 | 1992 | 8501 seen here crossing 5th Ave on 9st. S.W. on route 31 Downtown Shuttle. In its last year or so of service, 8501 was allocated to this route during it's 10 year life with Calgary Transit. This bus was finialy retired in November 2002. Throughout its 10 year life, this bus spent a fair amount of time in the shop mostly because it was the only bus of that model in the fleet, so whenever it needed a replacement part, it took a while for the parts to arrive. T6H-5307N/MCI Classic | Anderson | N/A | 6 buses (one out of frame) await there departure time from Anderson Garage for afternoon rush hour. This is the southern potion of the Park N'Ride Lot of Anderson's huge lot. More spaces were made avalible when the south LRT externsion (Phase I) was opened. The access road for Anderson Garage goes by the Anderson Station which is really quite nice from a photographer's point of view. You can take photos of buses leaving and returning to the garage conveniently. Buses wait on this field probably because of the lack of room on the tarmac outside the garage itself. | 12/06/2002 | |
