1974 Flyer D800 513-522

In 1974, Calgary Transit took delivery of 10 Flyer D800's. This was Flyer's new product following the somewhat failed D700/700A. The drivetrain was the same as the D700/700A, Detroit Diesel 6V71N with Spicer transmission. All of these buses were retired and sold in 1990, one of which, #514 has been partially converted to a motorhome and is sitting in a storage lot in Calgary.
