1973 GM New Looks 687-711

In 1973 Calgary Transit took their 2nd order of T6H-5307N's, 694 and 703 were the last two buses to remain active up to the end of 2002. These buses were powered by the Detroit Diesel 6V71N with Allison VH9 transmission.

694 rear 694 sits in the bus lanes among other buses inside the Spring Gardens garage. 3/28/2002
694 Roller Sign 1 694 was parked a week or two before this photo was taken at Spring Gardens, then retired for good in December 2002. Route 23 Foothills Industrial was probabaly the last route good old 694 ran. See below photo to see the whole bus. 10/26/2002
694 Roller Sign 2 694 was the oldest bus in service for CT since 1994. In 1999 it was parked because of an engine failure. It got an extended life with an engine off of another retired GM and was put back into service that same year. It ran till November 2002 when it was parked and retired a month later. 694 was retired with it's sister bus form 1973 (unit 703). 10/26/2002
