2011 Chevorlet Express 4500 Arboc Freedom

In the Spring and Summer of 2011, Calgary Transit took delivery of 72 Arboc Freedom low floor community shuttle buses. 5 of these buses (#1754-1758) are diesel electric hybrid buses. These buses are mounted on Chevrolet Express 4500 chassis. The buses have one wheelchair position and ramp. The seats are proper transit style seats from Freedman Seating Company. These buses also feature Axion LED destination signs. The five hybrid buses have slightly shorter bodies thus reducing the seating capacity to 18 whereas the rest of the buses seat 21 passengers.
