Citizens Area Transit Alexander-Dennis Enviro 500

Welcome to the CAT/RTC photo gallery for the Alexander Dennis Enviro 500. In 2004 and 2005, 50 of these double decker buses entered service. These buses are powered by Cummins ISM engines, The first 30 (#200-229) have 4 speed automatic Voith D864 transmissions. The remaining 20 (#230-249) have a 6 speed automatic ZF 6HP602 transmission. In 2007 41 (#101-141) more Alexadner Dennis Enviro 500 buses were delivered with Cummins ISM engines and ZF 6HP602 transmissions. A second order of extended length Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 buses entered service in 2007 (#151-190), powered by Cummins ISM engines and ZF 6HP604C transmissions. These two staircase buses are used on "The Deuce" that runs along the main Las Vegas strip. Orginally, the 50 2004-2005 Enviro 500's were assigned this service, but have since been relocated to other routes.
