Citizens Area Transit North American Bus Industries (NABI) 40LFW

Welcome to the Citizens Area Transit (CAT) photo gallery for the NABI 40LFW. In 1999 CAT took delivery of 60 40LFW buses from North American Bus Industries (NABI). These buses were numbered 701-760. The buses are powered by Detroit Diesel Series 50 engines with Allison B400R transmissions. In 2007 30 NABI 40LFW HEV (diesel electric hybrid) buses entered service. These buses are powered by the GM-Allison Ep40 hybrid system with a Cummins ISL engine. In 2008, 20 diesel NABI 40LFW buses entered service. They are powered by Cummins ISL engines with Allison B400R6 transmissions.
