Welcome to the Edmonton Radial Railway Society (ERRS) gallery. The ERRS is a heritage street railway operation in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It operates streetcars of historic value in Fort Edmonton Park and in Old Strathcona (High Level Bridge line). It operates streetcars that have historic value to Edmonton as well as cars that represent other systems around the globe. ERRS operations relies heavily on the efforts of volunteers and is an important part of Edmonton's history as well as streetcar history.
The ERRS was formed in October of 1979 after a significant amount of cumulative work had been completed to restore Edmonton's Car #1. The High Level Bridge line and the streetcar line within Fort Edmonton Park soon followed. Since then, numerous streetcars have been acquired with many of those being restored.
