ETS New Flyer XD40

Welcome to the New Flyer XD40 Xcelsior photo gallary. Edmonton Transit took delivery of their first New Flyer XD40 in 2013. The New Flyer XD40 replaced the New Flyer D40LFR as the flagship low floor bus from New Flyer Industries.

In 2013, ETS took delivery of 9 of these buses (#4880-4888). In 2018, ETS took delivery of 110 more of these New Flyer XD40 buses (#7000-#7109). Both orders of buses are powered by the Cummins ISL9 and an Allison B400R6.
