The Transbus (later Alexander Dennis) Enviro 500 was introduced in Hong Kong in early 2003 with Kowloon Motor Bus getting the first one, ATE1, as KMB accumulated these buses, eventually Citybus and New World First Bus took orders as well. The buses were delivered up until early 2013. Kowloon Canton Railway Feeder Bus/MTR Bus and Long Win Bus also took delivery of these buses. The engine that powers these buses is the Cummins ISM with either Voith or ZF transmissions. These buses come in lengths of 12m and 11.3m.
