Strathcona County Transit

Welcome to the Strathcona County Transit (SCT). SCT (then County of Strathcona Transit System) was founded in 1977 and operated by Edmonton Transit. In the late 1980's Pacific Western Transportation (PWT) took over operations. Strathcona County is located on the east side of Edmonton. SCT operates inner county service with regular service and dial-a-bus (depending on time of week). SCT also operates regular transit routes into Edmonton's downtown core. The fleet of SCT is one the most diverse in Canada, the fleet includes GM New Looks (many rebuilt and looking very nice), New Flyer D40LF's, New Flyer D60LF's/D60, MCI Classics, Ford Minibuses, Prevost XL-II's, Thomas Transliners, a Paling Allouette 35 and International T44E minibuses.
