Sound Transit Motor Coach Industries (MCI)

Welcome to the Sound Transit Motor Coach Industries (MCI) photo gallery. Sound Transit operates 40 MCI D4500/D4500CL buses. In 2005, 13 buses (#9700-9712) were delivered, followed by 7 in 2008 (#9713-9719), 3 units in 2009 (#9720-9722) and 17 units in 2011 (#9723-9739). All 2008, 2009 and 2011 are MCI D4500CL models with the redesigned rear cap. The MCI D4500 models powered by Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines an Allison B500R transmissions. Meanwhile the MCI D4500CL models are powered by Cummins ISM engines and Allison B500R transmissions.
