MCI/GM TC40102N "Classic"

Welcome to the Translink MCI/GM "Classic" photo gallary. Translink has 28 urban GM Classics that are from 1987. The other 135 are MCI Classics. Of the 135 there are 30 suburban (single door) units. 50 of the 135 are from 1989 and the other 85 are from 1990. The urban 1989 Classics are powered by Detroit Diesel 6V92TA with an Allison V731 tranmission with Telma 4 Stage retarder (suburban ones have no retarder). 1990 Classics have a Detroit Diesel 6V92TA with a Voith D863 transmission. Classics with that are suburan style buses have diferent seats, narrower rear door, reading lights and highway gearing.
