New Flyer XDE60 Xcelsior

Welcome to the New Flyer XDE60 Xcelsior photo gallery. In 2012-13, Coast Mountain Bus Company/Translink took delivery of 25 diesel electric hybrid articulated low floor buses from New Flyer, these are XDE60 buses numbered 12001-12025. in 2015, 21 more units followed, numbered 15001-15021. In 2016, 26 more units were added to the fleet, numbered 16201-16226. They are powered by a Cummins ISL 9 engine and an Allison Ep50 Hybrid drive. These buses are equpped with full HVAC systems and in 2012 were the first non-suburban buses to feature air conditioning in the fleet.
