Toronto Transit Commission GM New Looks

Welcome to the Toronto Transit Commission photo gallery. Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in its history has operated over 1500 General Motors New Look buses with the first ones being built in 1959. In May 2008, only 250 which were built from 1979-1983 remain, all remaining units were rebuilt between 1997-2002. All of the TTC's New Looks operated Detroit Diesel 6V71/6V71N engines and Allison transmissions. Remaining units all operate the Detroit Diesel 6V71N engine with an Allison V730 transmission.
