Toronto Transit Commission Orion VII HEV #1000-#1149

Welcome to the Toronto Transit Commission photo gallery. Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) took delivery of 150 #1000-1149 diesel electric hybrid buses from Orion Bus Industries in 2006. These are Orion 07.501 (VII) HEV models, the first to be delivered to a Canadian operator. They are powered by Cummins ISB engines with a hybrid electric drive from BAE Systems configured in a series setup. For more roster infromation please click here.
