Edmonton Transit System Glaval Easy On

Welcome to the Glaval Easy On community shuttle photo gallery. Edmonton Transit operates low floor community shuttle service on designated community shuttle routes in the 300 series and on some regular routes during times of low ridership. In December 2007 and January 2008, ETS took delivery of 13 Glaval Easy On low floor community shuttle buses. These were to replace a few Ford E450 Overland-ELF buses and also for service expansion. The buses are powered by a Duramax 6.6L Diesel engine with an Allison 1000 series automatic transmission. The bus is built on a Workhorse LF72 chassis, a modified motorhome chassis for low floor shuttle bus applications; meanwhile, the body is built by Glaval bus. The finished product is marketed as the Glaval Easy On low floor shuttle bus. The Glaval Easy On features kneeling capability, wheelchair positions and wheelchair ramp. The bus seats 21 passengers, while offering a higher ceiling in the passenger cabin compared to the Ford-Overland ELF shuttles. The Glaval Easy On buses also feature Axion destination signs.
