Welcome to the Saskatoon Transit Services photo gallery! Transit service in sts started with streetcar operations in 1913 evolving into a mix of motorbus and trolleybus service in the first half of the decade. Streetcar operations ceased in 1951. Trolleybus operations began in 1948 and were terminated in 1974. Motorbus service began around 1938 and remains the sole form of transit service today. As of April 2012, Saskatoon Transit Services serves a population of about 222 000 people with 23 routes and about 160 buses. The current (April 2012) fleet consists of GM New Looks, GM/MCI/NovaBus TC40102N Classics, Nova Bus LFS (40/60 foot), New Flyer D40LF's, New Flyer DE40LFR, New Flyer D40LFR and Chevrolet Arboc shuttle buses.

In 2006 Saskatoon Transit began a rapid transit service branded DART, these are Routes 50, 60, 70 and 80. Buses in the green DART scheme are designated to be on these routes. The two tone blue and white livery is for regular service routes.
